Enjoying Lake Toba on Sipinsur Geosite
Have you ever heard or know about Lake Toba? Lake Toba is the largest lake in Indonesia and also Southeast Asia. Administratively, Lake Toba is in the province of North Sumatra and covers 8 regencies, namely Karo, Toba Samosir, Humbang Hasundutan, Samosir, North Tapanuli, West Pakphak and Dairi regencies. Besides being wide, this lake has a very beautiful beauty and panorama and always makes people miss and miss when they see and visit it.
There are 8 regencies, dozens of sub-districts and villages that benefit from Lake Toba. Since the first, this lake has been the source of life for every citizen who lives there. Many people use Lake Toba as a source of water, a source of work (to raise fish) and also as a tourist attraction.
Sipinsur Geosite
There was a discussion that I had some time ago with my friends, the discussion was about where and how to best enjoy the beauty of Lake Toba. Since I was a child and a teenager, the best spot to enjoy Lake Toba is Prapat City. In Prapat, there have always been many hotels and accommodations for tourists and tourists. However, after these few years, there are many spots to enjoy the beauty of Lake Toba. One of them is visiting the Sipinsur Geosite.
Since 2014, the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism has continued to strive to make the Toba Geopark area or Lake Toba area a tourist attraction for local and foreign tourists. One of the areas being developed is the Sipinsu Geosite. This tourist area can be said to be new, because it was only generally opened at the end of 2018. I was invited to the opening of this tourist spot.
The Sipinsur Geosite is located in Parulohan Village, Paringinan District, Humbang Hasundutan Regency. To get to this location, there are two alternative routes that we can choose. From Medan City, it takes 8 hours of travel, but we will never be bored to pass that way. Apart from that, there are other options. We can travel by plane to Silangit airport and continue the journey for about 30 minutes.
View of Lake Toba
I came there when this attraction was just being built. Sipinsur hill is located at an altitude of 1200 meters above sea level and makes this hill have very cold air. According to local residents, the Sipinsur hill area has always been a place for local residents to spend time. Unfortunately, in the past, road access was very poor and there were no adequate accommodation facilities. However, when I came there. Road conditions and accommodation are good and it is very pleasant to get there.
My first impression when I came to this place, it looks like everything is still new and neatly arranged. The Sipincur Geosite is beautiful, cool and relaxing. I immediately walked to the place of establishment, from seeing firsthand the beauty of Lake Toba. There are many places and spots that we can use, and there are trails to see this sight to your heart's content.
In my opinion, the best way at this time to enjoy Lake Toba is to look at Lake Toba from a height or hill. Because, when we look from a height, our eyes will see a lump of blue sky and white clouds surrounded by beautiful green hills.
Pine Forests
Besides being able to enjoy the view of Lake Toba, we can also enjoy the view of the lush pine forest. The gust of wind from this pine forest will bring the scent of pine and make our bodies and hearts fresher.
This pine forest is one of the photo spots favored by many visitors when they come to Sipinsur. Of course, we will not find pine forests in the City and become a luxury that cannot be expressed in words.
Camping Ground
Only one thing is a problem, to find a hotel or inn is not yet available around the Bukit Sipinsur location. But don't worry, in this area there is a very wide camping ground that we can use. We can prepare a tent or camping independently and personally. However, if we want to rent a tent to try the sensation of camping on Sipinsur Hill, we can go to this tour manager.
I had the experience of staying there. At night, it gets colder and we won't be able to survive without a jacket. We also enjoy the view of the sunrise when we stay there.
Okay, this is the story of my journey this time. Thank you for reading and hopefully can provide information for all friends.
