Celebrating a Simple Wedding Anniversary : Future Hopes and Wishes

Hello everyone and all members of Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community, how are you today? May we all always be in good health and happy in every activity and work that we are currently doing. I also want to say One Year Anniversary for this community, I am very grateful for being well received and I can continue to contribute to writing and sharing my experiences about coffee, coffee shops or others.

Wedding and Birthday Date

To celebrate One Year Anniversary since the establishment of the Cinnamon Cup Coffee Community, this community held a posting contest with the theme “Anniverary”. Whether it's coincidence or it seems like fate, at the beginning of February I celebrated two things, namely Wedding Anniversary on February 5th and My Wife Birthday on February 7th. Today, my wife and I celebrate both.

You may ask why my wife's birthday and wedding date are close together. The reason is simple, I am a very forgetful person and I am afraid that I will forget that important date if it is too far from an important month, such as February or October (my birth month). When determining the wedding date, I suggest that it is not too far from my birthday or my wife's birthday.

Funny Moment
Last night, I celebrated wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday in a simple way. There is a funny story, at first I wanted to buy a medium size cake, the price of the cake at the cake shop was quite expensive because they made cakes with delicious taste and quality. However, my bank card was swallowed by the ATM machine and at that time the bank was closed and I couldn't take care of it. This was exacerbated by my smartphone running out of battery and unable to do mobile banking transactions. In the end, I just used the remaining cash that was in my wallet.

At that time, I only had IDR 70K in cash (5 USD) and the cake I was planning to buy for IDR 200K (12 USD). Finally, I bought the smallest size cake for IDR 4 Finally, I bought the smallest size cake for IDR 50K (3.5 USD), I also asked for candles and matches.

Celebration and Planning

We celebrate this anniversary in a simple way. One piece of cake and Japanese Ice Coffe with Wine Coffee Gayo Arabica. My wife also loves coffee, and I made her a special coffee drink for us to enjoy that evening.

Japanese Ice Coffee is a manual coffee brewing technique with a V60 tool, this coffee is brewed using a ratio of water and ice cubes to produce cold coffee that is smooth and clean. This drink is very suitable for women because it is not bitter and comfortable for the stomach.

Japanese Iced Coffee

Usually, every Wedding Anniversary and Birthday celebration in February, we will celebrate by staying in luxury hotels and eating delicious food for three days (from February 5 to 7) but this time we saved a little bit. For some reason, since getting to know cryptocurrency we are not too interested in doing activities that cost a lot of money for the sake of momentary pleasure.

Hope
When celebrating a wedding anniversary, we usually remember the beautiful moments in the past. I sometimes remember how the process of marriage proposals and events was very tiring five years ago, various sad and happy moments during this marriage. A cup of coffee makes the story longer and deep talk, we also have some plans and hopes for next year.

One of our hopes and prayers for our wedding anniversary next year is to be able to celebrate it together with the baby. We've been married for five years and are planning to start a childbearing program this year. We are trying to move on from our fears about pregnancy and childbirth. We had bad moments about pregnancy, we had two miscarriages in 2017 and 2018 which resulted in our baby being born prematurely and died. May our wishes come true and become the most beautiful gift for our wedding anniversary next year.
