My Actifit Report Card: July 20 2024

I have a question... I decided to try to plant some green stuff like basilica, spinach, etc, at home. First of all, I failed to grow up any type of flowers at home, even a cactus. They all passed away after a couple of weeks :)
So... I saw o. Aliexpress that stuff for planting, and I am not sure how useful it is. Did anyone try it?

I have a raised bed garden. I have both the wooden type and a similar type as in the picture, but it is made of a breathable material that also allows water through it.

My garden is growing despite a bad year for gardens in general here. I've already harvested peas and the growing season should be further along than it is, but the spring cool rainy weather continued into all of June, so it's put my garden behind. Combine with being a little in the foothills of the mountains and not in the valley, well, it's complicated things a bit.

I say give it a try if it's inexpensive, and make sure your soil is fertilized and that you water frequently depending on your climate. Let us know if you do and how it turns out.
