For me, the best example is children, they come into the world "pure", they nourish themselves from the environment, if they are bad at home the child has a greater chance of being bad or rather see evil as something normal, while a child raised In a good home, they can still do bad things out of mere curiosity, for example, children sometimes bite other children just because, no one taught them to bite others, but they do it without knowing that they are doing something wrong, even so. correction is necessary, but he is still a good child as long as he demonstrates with other actions that he did it not out of evil, it is somewhat complicated but even so many psychology books have been written observing the behavior of children.

I believe that a good person can do bad things, the first reason would be due to ignorance, lack of knowledge or omission of what they are doing, for example my grandmother used to give my mother home remedies, these were sometimes only recommendations from other people, my poor grandmother was illiterate but she had a good heart, she would never do something that would harm her children but unknowingly on several occasions these home remedies worsened the health of her children, she did something wrong without knowing that she was doing it.

A bad person could also do good actions, the best example I have in this regard is still very controversial in my country, because in the 50s there was a very severe dictator, he was a soldier who was said to have a very strong character, in those years there was almost no freedom for anything, the national guard became a kind of armed group that tortured people, obviously criminals were severely punished and made to do forced labor like building roads, but there was also no justice for the innocent, there were many people who were punished, there was also political persecution, there were political prisoners and disappearances, there were no free elections, but the president was in charge of carrying out large construction projects in the country, during his mandate the vast majority of highways that communicated to the country, many hospitals and schools were built, even today most of this infrastructure is in force, for example in my town the first primary school was built under his mandate and currently my son studies there and it is a very large school, it is say that in every city in the country there is at least one school built in those years. Obviously years later his government fell and democracy came to my country and there were finally free elections, and people were no longer afraid of the national guard. But there is a traditional song from my country that says a very iconic phrase regarding that president "he was a man who was bad but did good things", in a certain way none of those bad things are justified, but it is a clear example of as humans we will always be gray, there is no one totally bad or good.

You're right. There are circumstances that we thought it right but it was wrong and others thought we're bad
Thank you very much for your comment
Totally agree.
Bad person doing good... what if he's only bad by some standards and is just a person doing what is right? Or doing what he thinks is right. No matter the angle this discourse is approached from, it all boils down to saying good and bad are tags according certain standards. Dare I say even right or wrong. I mean what was good or right in say, the 16th century is abhorrent even, in these times. I guess we all gotta live as we've been taught and evolve into conforming with what's best for us and the society at large.
Thanks for your comment, that's right, there are things from the past that are bad for us in the present, but there are also cultural barriers, for example, there are things that can be good for a remote country in Asia but not for an American and vice versa. However, there are bad things that are bad in all parts of the world.
It is like that, nobody is completely good, or you do bad things because you want to, sometimes it is done out of ignorance as you say, we are imperfect beings, only God is perfection, good reflection, greetings.
Funny I thought about dictators when I considered this topic. I like the idea of people's being gray. I think the world is gray until we begin to separate things to study them in the laboratory of human mind. Who has the best vantage point? Some people say God does. I guess we will never understand why bad things happen to good people, but we can always analyze how these things happen.
Nice post, @irenenavarroart. Thanks for sharing it 😌❤️
Thank you very much for your comment. Humans are complex beings, evil obviously exists and proliferates, but goodness is not completely complete in a person. 😊
