A song to die: Lazarus by David Bowie
I am a music lover, perhaps I do not have all the knowledge of the musical genres that I like, but I can assure you that I feel each song that I like with all my body and soul, music can transport us to unique moments of the past or even from the future, but it also gives us the opportunity to experience things that we have never experienced, it is like living in the skin of another human being who tells his story, in the particular case of a song called Lazarus by the artist David Bowie I can feel the arrival of death, I can put myself in the place of a person who experiences the immediate expectation of death, almost as if he could see death approaching calmly walking towards me.
Everything that surrounds this song is real and can be felt not only in the lyrics but also in the singer's voice, who also prepared everything to say goodbye to this world in an unforgettable way. This song is called Lazarus, it is not necessary to be a Christian to know what this name refers to when we hear it, because Lazarus in the Bible was the person that Jesus resurrected, that is, one of the miracles attributed to Jesus in the Bible is having brought Lazarus from the world of the dead, that is, bring him back to life. In the song Lazarus, David Bowie in a very emotional way with a rather deep voice tells us that he feels in heaven and that there are wounds that cannot be seen, he says later that he is drugged and that his head is spinning, which he drops his phone, which is in danger, winks at the past and tells us a little about how in his youth he thought he was the king, but now he is going to be free like a blue bird.

This is such a gem as it sheds light on a subject that not everyone talks about. That line I've got nothing left to lose hits me hard. Thanks for introducing us to this remarkable song 🥺
thank you for reading my post about this great song
That's so touching, but in all he still try to live his life the best way he feels.
How we spend our time in this world matters a lot and yes music is good to the soul.
It helps explain our emotions without pain.
what we do with our lives is what matters in the end. Thanks for your comment
I haven't heard this track, but it certainly tells a deep story, and as you say something the artist did before he died, he was preparing for his departure, as they say today we are here, tomorrow we don't know, we have to enjoy every moment.
that's right, death is what awaits us all and that is what makes life important
Your publication has reached my soul friend, as you know a few months ago I lost my mother and something similar to what you describe happened in the song. It turns out that my mother had been asking my sister for a year to return her home since she was living in my sister's apartment that is next to mine. So my mother fell into bed with the stroke and for reasons of mobility since where we live there are stairs, my sister was forced to take her home, which was on the first floor, she made her wish to go home come true. . Many say that you know when you are going to die even if you don't have any terminal illness. Then we had to see his suffering with the bedsores that he developed from being in bed without mobility, that was the hardest and my mother did not complain. I can not write more friend, thanks for your publication.
People who are in their last days want to be in the place they want and with whom they want, many times they do not leave until they see a person or expect to be at home and not in a hospital for example. I'm so sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing your personal story.
Bendiciones @irenenavarroart ✨
