Wednesday Walk || Visiting fishing village
Hallo everyone..
On this occasion I would like to share a little story about my excitement when I was walking in the fishing village.
The fishing village is located in the province of Aceh, the city of Lhokseumawe, more precisely in Pusong.
Entering the fishing village area, of course we will see various kinds of fishermen's activities, some are unloading fish on boats, some are relaxing in the dock area.
Every day they are busy with fishing activities in the sea.
Looking for fish in the sea is a profession that is run every day for fishermen.
When the fishing boats returned from the sea, the local people came to help the crew unload the fish they had caught, it is clear in the picture above that they were very busy lifting the viber of the fish up using ropes.
On the other hand, from a distance, I saw several fishing boats parked neatly on the beach, maybe they had just returned from fishing.
After a while I was in the harbor, I finally decided to take a walk in the area on the other side of the fishing village.
I saw that there were several children standing on the bridge, their eyes turned toward the sea, I don't know what they were going to do, I didn't even know, I was just watching from a distance.
OMG..it turned out that they did an activation of jumping from top to bottom, I didn't waste the moment and had time to take a few shots when they were jumping from the bridge into the sea.
The fishermen's children are indeed very brave, no wonder they have been trained to swim from childhood and are never afraid under any conditions.
On the other hand, I also saw some fishermen's children who were casting their nets to look for fish around the reservoir, they did look small but their attitude had grown up, look how independent they are, look for fish and then bring them home to cook.
From a distance I saw adults looking for shells in between the rocks, they were busy prying shells with a knife, usually these shells were for consumption and some of them were sold if the results he got were a lot.
And from a distance I also saw some men sitting relaxed while fishing around the reservoir.
On the other hand, I also saw an adult man with his two children catching fish around the reservoir, they looked quite happy.
There are 2 birds flying in the air, it looks like they are looking for fish too.. Lol
From a distance, I also took a picture of an old man who was relaxing while smoking a cigarette, his gaze was fixed on the vast sea.
On the other hand, my friend who is wearing a green shirt is showing the fishermen some of the shots, they look quite happy..
After a day of walking in the fishing village, my friend and I finally decided to take a break at the coffee shop while enjoying a delicious cup of hot coffee.
My short trip today looked very enjoyable where I was able to take some moments of people's activities in the fishing village.

When I was a teen there was a bridge we used to jump off into a river we had such fun there nit sure I would do it now lol
Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)
Standing on the bridge and then jumping into the river is the most fun thing, I've also done that and it's very exciting.

You really captured great shot of daily life in this fishing village. Rusted out platforms on that bridge looks unsafe but seems like the kids have fun here everyday.
This bridge has been around for a long time, I don't know exactly whether it's still safe or not, the point is that they are quite happy to jump from a height down.
Yes I could see how happy the are. If I was a kid there I would probably be jumping that ledge too. 😁Cheers!
