Receta de Ponqué Frutal / Fruit Cake Recipe
What's up my friends! Today I want to share with you a very tasty fruit cake, with few calories for those who are on a diet.
Los ingredientes para hacerlo son: / The ingredients to make it are:
- 1 taza de aceite de maíz o el que tengan
- 1 taza de jugo de naranja recién exprimido
- 100 gr de azúcar
- 1 cucharadita de ralladura de limón
- 1 manzana grande rallada y pelada
- 1 zanahoria mediana rallada muy fina
- 500 gr de harina de trigo leudante
- 300 gr de mermelada de la fruta de su gusto, yo puse de durazno
- 1 cup of corn oil or whatever you have
- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 100 gr of sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1 large apple, grated and peeled
- 1 medium carrot grated very finely
- 500 gr of self-rising wheat flour
- 300 gr of jam of the fruit of your choice, I put peach
Preparación: / Preparation:
Batir el aceite junto con el azúcar y el jugo de naranja, hasta quedar cremoso.
Beat the oil together with the sugar and orange juice, until creamy.
Luego poner la manzana, la zanahoria y la ralladura de limón, mezclar bien y poco a poco van echando la harina y mezclando para que se unan bien los ingredientes. Si hace falta se puede poner un poco más de jugo de naranja.
Then put the apple, carrot and lemon zest, mix well and little by little add the flour and mix so that the ingredients are well combined. If necessary, you can add a little more orange juice.
La manzana, como se oxida rápido, deben rallarla al momento de incorporarla a la mezcla.
The apple, as it oxidizes quickly, should be grated when incorporating it into the mixture.
Ahora en un molde engrasado poner la mitad de la masa cubriendo todo el fondo y encima echar toda la mermelada.
Now in a greased mold put half of the dough covering the entire bottom and on top add all the jam.
Enseguida colocar el resto de la masa sobre toda la mermelada.
Then place the rest of the dough over all the jam.
Hornear a temperatura de 180º por 45 minutos aproximadamente o hasta que quede dorado. Sacar y dejar enfriar por completo.
Bake at a temperature of 180º for approximately 45 minutes or until golden. Take out and let cool completely.
Este ponqué se debe conservar en la nevera. Queda muy rico y liviano para después del almuerzo. Si quieren lo acompañan con helado, ¡una delicia!
This cake should be kept in the fridge. It's very tasty and light for after lunch. If you want, accompany it with ice cream, a delight!
