[ESP-ENG] "Putínga" de zanahoria / Carrot "Putinga"

Saludos a todos los amigos del mundo que me leen. Hoy les quiero presentar un postre bastante saludable, con muchas vitaminas, muy rico y lo importante es que no contiene azúcar excepto el de las frutas.

Greetings to all my friends around the world who read me. Today I want to present you a very healthy dessert, with lots of vitamins, very tasty and the important thing is that it doesn't contain sugar except for the fruit.

El postre de hoy se llama Putínga de Zanahoria, es un postre griego, de los tantos que hay en ese, mi país de origen, para diferentes gustos, y algunos de fama mundial.

Today's dessert is called Carrot Putinga, it's a Greek dessert, one of the many that exist in my country of origin, for different tastes, and some of worldwide fame.


Para esta delicia van a necesitar: / For this delicacy you will need:

  • 3 zanahorias de tamaño mediano, hervidas y hechas puré con un tenedor
  • 1/2 taza de dátiles picaditos
  • 1/2 taza de agua tibia
  • 1/2 taza de pasas negras suaves y picadas
  • 1 manzana picada en trozos pequeños
  • 1/2 taza de pan rallado o sémola
  • 1 taza de harina de trigo todo uso
  • 1/4 de cucharadita de vainilla en polvo
  • 1 huevo
  • 3 medium sized carrots, boiled and mashed with a fork
  • 1/2 cup chopped dates
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1/2 cup chopped soft black raisins
  • 1 apple, chopped into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup of bread crumbs or semolina
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered vanilla
  • 1 egg



Preparación: / Preparation:

En un bol batir el huevo, echar el puré de zanahoria y mezclar bien.

In a bowl beat the egg, add the carrot puree and mix well.

Ahora poner los dátiles, las pasas y la manzana y mezclar muy bien.

Now add the dates, raisins and apple and mix very well.

Luego incorporar la media taza de agua tibia, seguir mezclando y añadir el pan molido o la sémola, y por último la harina con la vainilla.

Then add the half cup of warm water, continue mixing and add the bread crumbs or semolina, and finally the flour with the vanilla.

Batir bien para que se unan todos los ingredientes.

Whisk well to combine all the ingredients.

Engrasar bastante y enharinar un molde de 20 x 20 cm y colocar la preparación, hornear a º180 por 45 minutos.

Grease and flour a 20 x 20 cm baking pan and place the preparation, bake at º180 for 45 minutes.

Sacar y dejar enfriar. Esta receta da para unas 6 porciones y si la quieren más grande, duplicar los ingredientes.

Remove and let cool. This recipe makes about 6 servings and if you want it bigger, double the ingredients.
