The same plan even if Uncertainty strikes
Holidays are one of the most awaited things for us and most of us keep waiting for it because it allows us to enjoy our life how we want. I think the most enjoyable holiday we spent in our childhood. Those holidays were summer vacation, winter vacation, or holidays for festivals. I can still remember that all of us used to plan what to play, how to enjoy and that's all and there was nothing to worry about. That time there were no shackles in the name of responsibility, our expectations were very silly and easily achievable and we didn't need to think about money because money had nothing to do with our enjoyment of holiday. I miss those days and I think that kind of holiday we are not going to enjoy anymore. Maybe it's because we have shackles of responsibility now and it seems we need to think a lot before taking the next step and now we need to think about money a lot because now our enjoyment has a connection with money. Maybe it's because we can't find happiness in little and silly things like we used to find in our childhood times.

It's true that we can't be happy like we used to be in our childhood times but it doesn't mean we can't be happy and everyone has the desire to be happy. So still now, we try to find happiness as much as we can although we have to consider many things about thinking about our happiness. I am not different and I also love to enjoy my holiday time and find my happiness.
In most of the country now it's the Christmas season and holidays are approaching because of it. But in my country, I have never seen anyone celebrating Christmas and so there are no Christmas holidays in my country. But naturally, December is the winter season here and we get winter vacation approximately at the ending time of December. So even without Christmas, I am also going to enjoy the holidays.
I think as humans it's a very common desire of us to spend our holidays with our beloved person more specifically with our family members and that's very natural. And in my case, there is no difference. But I am lucky in this case because I stay with my family and all of the family members stay here with me in the town. We don't need holidays to spend beautiful and quality moments with family. But I think in holidays our gossiping time may be increased a little bit in the breakfast, lunch, and dinner time.
In my opinion, spending time in my village gives me a different kind of satisfaction and it was a pre-planned thing for us to go to my village and enjoy time there. The nature of my village boosts and refreshes my mind very well. Besides, the beauty of winter mornings seems magical in my eyes and maybe that is the reason I went to my village socially in the winter time to enjoy the morning beauty where I can see fog everywhere. So it was decided to spend full holidays in the village but it says that uncertainty is a part of life and an uncertainty happened but it was a good one for me. The chairman of my department said in the middle/end of January our final exam is going to happen and everything is ready now. The exam was supposed to happen 2.5 years ago but because of lazy teachers, it kept delaying. So I needed to be ready for my exam and I started to prepare myself for it. So I made a little change in the plan and the time of enjoying holidays in the village will be deducted. The time was reduced but the plan is still the same.
Obviously, I will spend a good amount of time for doing my study because it's necessary for my career. It was not in my holiday plan but now it's included already and that thing is not negotiable.
Another thing is going to happen during the holiday time which used to happen for many years. It's an arrangement of a little picnic in the village which is one kind of get-together party of our cousins and we used to do it in each year. We used to cook outside of the house and all of my cousins join the picnic. It's not a tradition but we do it and I am pretty sure that this time the same thing will happen. It's good for us and makes our bond stronger.
In the last few months, I didn't have too many adventures or tours. I think because of exam preparation pressure I may need to make at least an adventure to refresh my mind and I think in this holiday I am going to make it. Besides, one of my friends kept insisting for it for a long time but because of lack of time management, I was unable to make it possible. So it's not decided but I am very much confident about it.
That's all about my plan for the upcoming holidays. I have not so many plans but those things are enough to enjoy my holiday and give me happiness.

I love spending time with my family during the holidays like this too especially in a less noisy place too, I agree that our childhood days brought us the most happiness buy even now we can still create happiness for ourselves.

I am from Bangladesh and here are only one day holiday from Christmas and I have never seen anyone celebrating Christmas. It's not so popular but may be In some market I can see the Christmas vibes. I need to search if any shopping complex arranged that or not.

Each time I spent in village enjoyable to me. Besides the environment of village gives me a relaxing vibes which can't be found in town.

I love holidays only when I am really exhausted and needed some time off from stress, I don't even know why I love going to school and being busy everyday I guess I love being in school because all my friends where in school.

I prefer having a holiday picnic in an environment close to nature maybe river bed

We have a specific place to enjoy the picnic and it's a very good place and so we don't have a plan for changing the location.
