Steps to making a simple necklace for myself ❤️

I woke up thrilled and I'm so excited to make a post in this wonderful community of jewelries
Today , i want to share to you all on how i made this lovely necklace for myself using small glass beads.

Actually, i got inspired to make this necklace when i came across a video on how to make it on YouTube. It was lovely at first sight and i wanted to own one for myself. Although i saved it a long time ago, i felt so lazy to make it because it seemed difficult and i thought it involved such a long process and also because seed beads cost much time to make because of its small size but after a long while, i summoned courage to make it for myself ❤️ maybe that was because i was less busy and bored but thank God, it was a motivation.
I already had my beading materials at home so i proceeded into work immediately.

Here are the materials i used in making the necklace:
My yellow seed beads
My blue seed beads
Necklace hook
My scissors ✂️✂️✂️✂️
My fishing line

And these are the few simple steps i used in making the necklace
Firstly, i cut my fishing line into a size that could go round my neck twice

I picked 4 yellow beads into the fishing line leaving a little space before the first bead

I then turned used the other edge of my fishing line and passed it backwards through the very first bead i had inserted

And it gave me this square like shape, and lo, i was starting something already

I then used that same edge of the fishing line and picked eight (8) blue beads into the fishing line

And then again i inserted 4 yellow beads into the fishing line

I then intertwined it backwards with the very first yellow bead i had inserted in this step

Moving forward , I picked eight (8)blue beads again and four yellow beads into the fishing line ..

I then passed the fishing line through the first yellow bead in this step just like i did in the previous steps

I kept on repeating these steps gradually, over and over again till i got to a total number of 8 square like yellow beads and 7 of the blue bead steps

This made me proceed to the next.
In this step, i cut out another fishing line at about 5 inches

I then tied few knots at one edge of the fishing line , i made sure it was tight so that it wouldn't loose

Since the previous bead i had made ended with a yellow square like shape i then passed the new fishing line into two of the yellow beads in that square that were facing downwards

I picked four (4) blue beads and four (4) yellow beads into the fishing line

I then passed the edge of my fishing line backwards through the last yellow bead

It gave the yellow bead a square like shape

And again i inserted 4 blue beads into the fishing line and then passed it through the bottom part of the yellow square like bead that was showing from the other step i made

And through that same fishing line , i inserted four blue beads again, four yellow beads and intertwined backwards

I repeated these few steps till i completed the first row I made

I then inserted quite a number of beads into the two edges, i made sure it sized my neck

I then inserted my hook into the two sides of the necklace and as i Least expected, my necklace was ready to be worn
