Making a sleeveless crop top with a princess chestline for a friends birthday party

Good day to you all, hope you're all faring well and having a lovely day.
With so much excitement I want to share with you the steps i used in making this handless crop top for my self.
it's been so long since I posted in this community due to my busy schedule and for today without hesitating I am going to show you the steps I used in making this top for myself to attend my best friends birthday party.

I choosed this top because of the event I'm attending, it will actually suit a birthday party because it's at night and the weather has been so hot lately,i feel this is the perfect outfit .
I had a leftover half yard of a vintage material so I used it to make this top

And the steps that guided me to make it were:
Firstly I bent my material into two and measured my bust, body and then the my shoulder to half length measurement and marked it on the material and then cut it out with a v shape at the middle of the material which gave me this lovely chest line

After then, I placed the material I had cut out(the front side) on another folded material and cut out the back side without putting the princess chest line I had put in the front and it got me to this after which i slit the back into two and it gave me this

At the point where I got the back and front side of my top, I then had to measure my dart, I held the front and the back that and it gave me this after which I also bent the upper part of it using my material to turn it over

After this i bent the lower part of both the front and the back and the cut out a long rope from the material, from this rope , i cut out one inch each and made a total of 12. I took my time to attach it at the back of the top , 6 for each side

After joining the holes, i picked the front and back side of my outfit and attached them together and also did a long rope I'll be using to attach to the back of my top
That was the final step of making the top , This is what it looked like when i wore it

I liked the way it was simple and the back side too was pretty 💜
