Amigurumi #145: Unicornio bb / baby unicorn
¡Hola, espero la estés pasando muy bien!
Hi, I hope you are having a great time!
There was a time when the networks were flooded with this character and curiously the ones that were made with the amigurumi technique attracted more attention. At that time I was learning to knit and of course I wanted to knit one, jaja to see how it looked.
Una imagen como guía / A picture as a guide
A few days ago a customer gave me this reference image, telling me he wanted a similar one. This case is different from Reyna Valorant because I didn't recognise the designer, then when I looked for the pattern I didn't find it, but I found several versions and styles of unicorns. So I had to design the pattern based on this image.
A tejer/ To weave:
For this amigurumi I used an 8 strand yarn (white) and joined two 4 strand yarns together to get 8 strands (pink). In the first attempt I knitted it a bit small and it didn't reach the desired size of the amigurumi, so in the second attempt I gave it an extra increase (width) and lengthened the size of the head.
Yes, I'm in the part where knitters don't like "the diagramming", that is to say my favourite part, haha. I put several pins on it because the yarn is thick, so they don't hold the pieces well with the body.
For the baby unicorio's mane and tail, I used cheerful colours similar to the reference image, although I changed the shade of pink for a darker one, to give it life and combine it with the colour palette.
Finally I added the eyebrows, jaja... to keep the style. I must confess that at the beginning I doubted whether I would add them or not, because adding them would be something different from the reference image. Then I changed my mind because I remembered that his owner would be a girl and she should know that animals also have eyebrows and eyelashes.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡…Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!
Now I can say that I knitted the famous unicorn, jaja.

This is really beautiful @inici-arte, I love the way you crochet and it came out so well
Thank you very much. I didn't think that this character is known worldwide, haha. The amigurumi technique for me is not complicated and it takes numbers, it's more like something innate. Generally the designs come out on the first or second try, as long as you have the right materials and tools. Keep up the good vibes!.
Ya welcome dear, I thought as much that those two might not be all the characters, so are you going to do the rest of the characters???
Hi. Well, I don't plan to knit the rest of the characters, unless it's an order for a child.
Que preciosidad te felicito
Muchas gracias Gladymar.
Hello @ inici-arte your work is very nice, I congratulate you for your constancy regarding amigurimi.
Thank you very much. Actually knitting amigurumi takes time. It's a matter of organisation, dedication and that you like what you do, so the work is no longer work, but a pleasure. Good vibes!.
