Statistical Analysis of Killings in Nigeria in the Month of June, 2022 by Terrorists
The number of killings in Nigeria in the month of June by terrorists group has create much fear to few who are alive.
Terrorists in Nigeria has eliminated the lives of many people just in the month of June, 2022. The statistics aimed at showing the numbers of people killed due to the state of insecurity and Nigerian Government reaction but it's sad that even with this mass destruction, nothing has been be done to remedy the situation. Meaning over eighty (80) innocent citizens has lost their lives through the hand of terrorists in the nation in less than two weeks. These terrorists doesn't respect church, mosque or any religious gatherings as that is their main target. But the truth is that they're not not attacking mosque rather churches, christian gathering, social gathering, pastors or men of God and government officials and infrastructures.
It is sad that on 12th June, 2022, an identified terrorists invaded Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo State while the worshipers were worshipping God on that faithful Sunday morning. More than forty people were killed in the attack for during nothing than worshipping God inside church. It was a black Sunday as those who left their houses with a mindset of worshipping God not knowing that they won't return back alive due to insurgency. This is one of the gruesome and terrifying killings in the month of June which lead to killing of over forty people
Also, more than one hundred and thirteen lives has been killed between 5th June 2022 to 11th June, 2022 in different attacks. Does it mean that lives has no value in Nigeria? I'm yet to understand the root of cause of this unceasing killing or if they (terrorists) are most superior and powerful to be eliminated or if it is Politically planned? The terrorists have been able to spread their attack among four geopolitical zones in Nigeria out of the six geopolitical zones across the country.
Terrorists Attacks in different Geopolitical Zones
The terrorists attacked Saint Francis Catholic Church, Owo in Ondo State in South-west of Nigeria where more than 40 worshipers were killed instantly on Sunday mass while worshipping God and some sustained injuries. Unfortunately for the christians who were ended their lives in a pool of blood as the gunmen invaded the church without mercy. An investigation shows that more than seventy people lost their lives in the attack which was said to be sponsored by terror group ISWAP. And a mass burial was conducted by the church in honour of the departed souls.
One Saturday afternoon in the month of June, the unknown gunmen eliminated life of the wife of the village head in Isa Local Government Area, Sokoto State of North-west where a lot of people sustained injuries during the attack.
Still in the North-west, in Kaduna State, another terrible attack occurs in which no fewer than thirty-two (32) people were killed when an unknown gunmen invaded Ungwan Gamu, Dogon Noma, Ungwan Sarki and Maikori villages near Maro in the Kajuru Local Government Area of Southern Kaduna. The terrorists invaded these communities on Sunday, June 5 by 12 noon and they carried out their operations till 6p.m without a single or any military intervention. What a poor state of security.
The terrorists also launched their attack in the month of June on the North-central where the unknown Gunmen at Kwara killed two passengers on a 18-seater bus and abducted many to their hideout in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.
Also, at Federal Capital Territory, some suspected herders killed a farmer in his farm, Hussaini Takuma, while working in the day and dumped his body in an abandoned well in Kuje Area Council. What a worst state of insecurity. They successfully rustled more than 30 cattle and 20 goats after killing the farmer.
Yet, in the South-east, another unknown Gunmen slaughtered a youth leader, Emeka Alaehobi, of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Utuh, a community in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State. Who was abducted at his residence in Ukpor community only to be reported killed

Nigerian President Response to June Killings
President Muhammad Buhari responded first to the massacre killing of worshippers at the St Francis Catholic Church by a mere condemning the action but no proactive step was taken. He responded by saying that,
No matter what, this country shall never give in to evil and wicked people, and darkness will never overcome light. Nigeria will eventually win,”
