Current Season

I am waiting for some pumpkins to be ready to harvest. This will be in about 12 hours or so. I have been harvesting as the season progressed. The garlic and the beetroot and carrots. I have held back some of the harvest in case they turn up in the quests out of season. Here is the quest screen for this season, just waiting for the pumpkins to harvest:

Because I held back some of the harvest, the rewards are smaller. Of course, once the pumpkins come in I’ll sell most of it off and increase the final rewards:

Lost Opportunities

I can’t stress enough that you must pay attention to the game and it’s deadlines. Because the previous season was ending around the holiday of Thanksgiving, I missed the harvest of my remaining crops. And, subsequently, lost the chance to earn more reward tokens. So, if you play, make sure you mind the deadlines.

The Future

I am continuing my strategy of buying the seeds I need to fill the plots. I am forced to the marketplace due to the packs being sold out.

I have also started buying enough seeds so I can run, say, a ten day seed and then fill a four day seed in that plot after I harvest the former.

I hope to have more Hive available after the new year and will start buying additional plots of land. I am hoping the average farmland remains cheap until then.

I am also continuing the strategy of holding back part of the harvest without selling. The reasons are twofold; one, in case a future quest screen requires a previous season crop to be sold and two, it may be exciting to sell a whole bunch of shares for a huge reward just in one season.
