[Week 141] My childhood and its birthdays.
For as long as I can remember, my childhood was full of unique and wonderful moments that have made me thankful for my existence. As a child I always enjoyed the celebrations, specifically the birthdays, since they were the moments where the whole family gathered, aunts, cousins, grandparents and in which we could all enjoy the new return to the sun of each family member.
As a child I always felt attracted and very happy to be part of them, I was excited when my mother told us about the next birthday to be celebrated in the family and I remember anxiously waiting for the day of the celebration. As children, we spent the whole day playing, running around and enjoying the great amount of candy we were given at all the parties.
How can I forget my siblings happy, celebrating and very emotional, it was as if there was no tomorrow, every time we went to a birthday party we gave everything, according to my mom we were very tremendous and I do not doubt it, since it is difficult not to fall into tremendousness when you mix soft drinks, candy and children.
All these beautiful memories of birthdays marked my childhood in a positive way and made me feel always happy and eager to know when we would celebrate the next birthday.
I remember with love, each of these celebrations, especially the birthday of a cousin that was simply phenomenal, they celebrated it in an amusement park and it was a theme party about ninja turtles, there were clowns, hot dog carts, cotton candy, popcorn, among others. Something that made me marvel that day was the beautiful gift we were given at the end of the party, each child was given a turtle, with its respective box where he could rest, then my brothers and I were so happy that we named him Pedro because we were fans of the Flintstones.
Because of all the joy, the good times, the sharing, the games, the laughter, the candy, the cake and so on, is that I value and feel happy and grateful for the birthdays to this day.
This is my entry for the weekend engagement proposed by @galenkp.

Birthdays were always a thing to look forward to. I remember all the birthday parties we celebrated at home. It was always a thrilling moment.
Yes, I certainly think as kids we all loved birthdays, it's just that they've always been great.
