[Week 135] Music soothes our souls

Definitely, I have always loved music and how it makes us connect with emotions and feelings that are inside of us and that sometimes are hard to deal with. I believe that music is that balm for our soul that leads us to face certain difficult situations in the best possible way.

This song by Oasis entitled "Stop Crying Your Heart Out" was that placebo that accompanied me for about 3 months when I had to face the physical deterioration and the loss of my beloved aunt Haydee. I think that from the time I was in the hospital taking care of her until the day I said my last goodbye, I listened to it daily.

You may wonder why this song, since it is a bit melancholic, but for me it was a good formula to heal that wound and still is today. When we connect from our most heartbreaking emotions with lyrics full of good content, this makes us feel somehow accompanied in our pain.

For me, to stop making my heart cry, as the lyrics of this incredible song say, is something I am still dealing with, when we love someone so much and this person is no longer on this plane, we feel so lonely and empty that we can only remember the good times and be thankful for them. For having had the fortune, to have been part of that person's life and without a doubt every time I listen to it I can internalize how everything beautiful that my aunt taught me is still with me.

In addition, this song is a song to continue despite the difficulties, maybe things do not go as planned, but if something is certain, is that in life there are always situations in which we must rise from the ashes like the phoenix and what better to have the music as the force that motivates us.

So the peace and tranquility that this melody transmits to me is as if I were in a garden full of the most beautiful nuances that only make me grateful for the fact of living to the fullest!

Sorry for the loss of your aunt, but - you just made her live again through your words and by showing her to us. That's a beautiful thing, and it shows how much you cared for her. I think she would be happy to know how you still remember her. 😊

Yes, this song helped me a lot to deal with my sadness. As you mention we love so much, that when we lose someone, somehow we feel like a part of us leaves with that person.

Thank you for your beautiful comment. Blessings @trucklife-family 🌷🌟🙂🌻💫✨🤗🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻.
