Three Tunes Tuesday: In memory of Taylor Hawkins[Eng-Esp]

Dear music friends, I'm happy to be with you again with the Three Tune Tuesday initiative. Thank you @ablaze for creating this great initiative, which every week transports us and takes us on a journey through these great tunes.
Today I want to share with you one of the bands that have accompanied me throughout my life, Foo Fighters, actually I have always loved their lyrics and since I was little I remember my brother playing their songs over and over again. It brings back such fond memories of my teenage years and even today it helps me when I’m down or just want to express joy.
Because of this, I feel it necessary to pay tribute to the incomparable Taylor Hawkins who was their drummer, who passed away just 4 months ago. And a week ago they made a tribute in his memory, so today I bring you these melodies with which I most identify myself and I think that in them is printed the unique style of Hawkins.
Apreciados amigos de música, estoy contenta de poder estar nuevamente con ustedes con la iniciativa Three Tune Tuesday. Gracias @ablaze por crear está gran iniciativa, que cada semana nos transporta y nos lleva a viajar a través de estás grandes melodías.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una de las bandas que me han acompañado a lo largo de mi vida, Foo Fighters, en realidad siempre me han encantado sus letras y desde que era pequeña recuerdo a mi hermano colocar sus canciones una y otra vez. En tanto, me trae tan buenos recuerdos de mi época de adolescencia y aún hoy me ayuda cuando estoy de bajón o simplemente quiero expresar alegría.
Debido a esto, creo necesario rendirle homenaje al inigualable Taylor Hawkins quien fuera su baterista, el cual falleció apenas 4 meses atrás. Y hace una semana le realizaron un tributo en su memoria, por lo que hoy les traigo estás melodías con las que más me identifico y creo que en ellas está impresa el inigualable estilo de Hawkins.
Time Like These
This incredible lyric simply transports me, it is unique and its meaning is so clear and precise, to live our present where we realise that the only way out is to live being who we are, because as the song says, it is times like these that allow us to reflect and try to see things in the best possible way even when we are not entirely sure how to lead our lives. I actually think that when the lyrics of the song refer to “I’m a road that leads away and then follows you home” it means that even though sometimes we don’t know what to do because of our own stubbornness, when we think about it carefully we give in and realise that the choice is to keep moving.
Esta increíble letra, simplemente me transporta, es única y su significado es tan claro y preciso, vivir nuestro presente en dónde nos damos cuenta de que la única salida es vivir siendo quienes somos, pues como dice la canción, son tiempos como estos, que nos permiten reflexionar y tratar de ver las cosas de la mejor forma posible aun cuando no estemos del todo seguro de como conducir nuestras vidas. En realidad pienso que cuando en la letra de la canción se refiere a “soy un camino que se aleja y luego te sigue a casa” se refiere que aunque a veces no sepamos que hacer por nuestra propia terquedad, cuando lo pensamos con detenimiento cedemos y nos damos cuenta de que la opción es seguir en marcha.
These Days
To me it seems to be a kind of response to someone who is constantly judging what we feel, but it is at that point that we must reconsider why we are suffering, whether it is worth our time and dedication, it is how letting go of the problems and somehow saying ok this is it, will help us to follow the path of healing.
It is a cry from a heart that does not want to give up, that tries again and again. Besides, giving up is not an option, because even though we go through many situations in which we may suffer, they help us to continue with much more enthusiasm and to learn from what we have experienced.
A mí parecer es una especie de respuesta a alguien que está juzgando constantemente lo que sentimos, pero es en ese punto que debemos reconsiderar el motivo por el cual sufrimos, si merece nuestro tiempo y dedicación, es así como dejar ir los problemas y de algún modo decir ok hasta aquí con esto, nos ayudará a seguir el sendero de la sanación.
Es un grito de un corazón que no se quiere rendir, quien lo intenta una y otra vez. Además, rendirse no es opción, porque aunque pasemos por muchas situaciones en que podamos sufrir estás más bien, nos ayudan a continuar con muchas más ganas y aprendiendo de lo vivido.
My Hero
Beautiful lyrics that transmit a feeling of deep love and admiration for someone who is considered a hero, but not one of those superheroes we always imagine or perhaps someone of great investiture. It speaks of simplicity, of the everyday, where with small actions that hero was represented, through everyday experiences and above all understanding that when we tell the truth in this is always implicit a consequence.
At some point someone can be a hero if he or she acts according to criteria where truth, loyalty, wishing the best for others and being a support are always present in his or her way of acting.
Hermosa letra que transmite un sentimiento de amor profundo y admiración por alguien que es considerado un héroe, pero no de esos superhéroes que siempre imaginamos o tal vez alguien de gran investidura. Habla de la sencillez, de lo cotidiano, en dónde con las pequeñas acciones se representaba ese héroe, a través de las vivencias cotidianas y sobre todo entendiendo que cuando decimos la verdad en esta siempre está implícita una consecuencia.
En algún punto alguien puede ser un héroe si se maneja bajo criterios en dónde la verdad, la lealtad, el desear lo mejor para otros y ser un apoyo siempre están presentes en su modo de actuar.

Amen, what a band and what a lovely tribute to Taylor Hawkins, especially the version of one of my fav Foos songs My Hero. How emotional that must have been for the little man, but man did he nail it. He most certainly inherited the skills from his old man.
