Another tiny sculpture

Hi, guys!

Yesterday I did a very interesting thing, at the request of my therapist. And this thing has nothing to do with my passion for pottery.

At the last session, she told me about the methods of working with the inner critic. Mine is very big and strong, and does not allow me to live comfortably in many areas, if not all. And in order to somehow agree with him in the end, I turned to my psychologist.

She advised to start by buying a special Italian clay, which is also called keraplast. Its peculiarity is that it does not require firing, just solidifying in the air. I really don't like the idea of such clay, I like it when everything is real. But it's good enough for a job like this.

The next thing to do was mold your inner critic. At first, you just had to sit and knead the clay mass, waiting for something to begin to form. For me, this was a very difficult moment. Even before I started sculpting it, I was already worried that it would turn out badly. And that's what he told me too!

Finally I made up my mind. The work was pretty hard, also because I'm used to working with real clay, and it behaves differently. In the end, I ended up with something like this:

I regret that I didn't take more photos in the process, I only have one more, in which he is still without a hat, I will insert it below.

So far, I don’t know what exactly will happen to him next, because we haven’t had time to discuss this yet. I know for sure that it will be necessary to talk to him, but again, so far I don’t know how exactly. So for the time being it will remain in this state.

Today I went to the art store and bought paints to paint it. I really hope that this item is included in the program. By the way, I was very surprised that in my favorite art there were noticeably fewer materials. The last time I went was over a year ago.

See you in the next post!
Love, Inber
