My house is kind of like a forest.

My living room has the word "UM" taped up by the light. It's My ceiling UM.

I stomp grapes and squish potatoes in another area. That's my Mush Room.

In the bathroom there is fungi too. Sometimes I'll get a flush of Neo fungi. It helps heal cuts! If I get a scratch...That's where I put the Neo spore in.

My kitchen has a spot for my wallet next to the mixing bowl. I keep my Bucks next to the Doe.

My pet bear Doug died. So we skinned him and he is now in the living room. That's my Douglas Fur.

You should come over and camp....It's In Tents!!

When I was writing my father's obituary, my mom made sure I included that my dad had pursued Erhard Seminars Training (marketed as "est," according to Wikipedia). I had never heard of this before, but my mom told me a funny story about their involvement in it. These seminars were very strict, and participants had to sit through hours of lectures and were not allowed to leave during them to use the restroom. My mom thought this was ridiculous, and asked my dad, who'd been into longer than she had, why on earth he would put himself through that. He looked at her as if he couldn't believe she was questioning the process, and didn't have any better reason than, "For est!"

My grandmother was incredibly passionate about sewing her whole life. She loved to fix peoples things and helped me with a pair of jeans that wasn't fitting too well, they were a bit long. In order to keep the adjustment she made to them, she had to use a hem-lock technique.
