How the rain ruined my day

Good evening everyone . Welcome to my blog. Today I'll be writing about my experience. How my day got ruined by the rain.

Most people including me do not like the rainy weather because on the sunny day, you don't get wet, you can walk freely without worrying if you carried an umbrella or not. When the weather just change and become all gloomy, everyone's mood changes.

Not withstanding the fact that the both is important in all forms of life, too much of it can cause disaster and destruction to life and properties. Too much of the rain is a big problem and no rain at all is still a big problem.

It was morning, and everywhere was looking good and okay. The clouds in the sky, the sun rising was just a beautiful sight. Went about my regular activities. I mean it was dry season, so I was not expecting any surprise though. Cleaned the house, brushed and in my way to take my bath, all of a sudden, the house became dark and I could hear droplets of rain outside.

It was drizzling. I was scared. "Ok...I'll make it for classes before it starts to rain heavily " I said to myself. It was still drizzling by the time I was done taking my bath. Dressed up, rushed breakfast and rushed downstairs. As I just stepped outside, it was as if heaven was let open. I had to run back into the house so as not to get soaked.

I looked at the clock, it was ticking, time was going, I had to be in class before 10 and my friend was throwing a party to celebrate her birthday. I had to be at that party. The rain poured down in torrents.

I got so angry. I had to change into house clothes. It was 4pm and it was still raining. I called my friend and apologized that I will not be coming to her party, she was sad at first that I was not going to come but she had to understand because it was raining.

The rain didn't stop till about 16 minutes past the hour of 7 and it was late to go anywhere again. I just took my bath, ate dinner and went to bed.
