Christmas:A time to plan and celebrate.

Good evening hivers. Una welcome to my blog. Na me again oo. It's my pleasure to be writing here again. I'll be writing about the special season 'Christmas'.

The holidays can be so special to people , it's a special time and season in the year when people get to meet and reconnect with their family, friends and loved ones. But some people take it as a normal time, some don't observe the holidays because their religion or whatever they worship does not allow them to.

For those who are celebrating this season, it's a good time to look back at the past year and look forward to what the new year holds. Not everyone celebrate this season but I'll advise that however you want to go about it just make sure it is what gives you happiness and inner joy.

I have plans for the season. I plan to celebrate Christmas, I don't plan to spend too much money, just a little here and there. My mom always buys Christmas dress and shoes. Now she is no more, I plan to buy these things for myself and siblings. I plan to give out to those that have little or nothing.

I plan to spend some money, take care of my self and have time to rest. This season I plan to eat Christmas food, good meals and I'm kinda sad though that be I won't be able to get some of the home made meals anymore. But I have decided and planned on spiking myself and others around me.

I'll get to visit a lot of fun places. Get tickets to attend concerts and other fun programs. For example, here in my state here in Nigeria, the government has made it very interesting, not scary and so much mad fun. There are decorations indicating the season is here, there is a place to relax anytime you wish too.

It's called Christmas village. it's open for 24 hours, anytime you feel like going there to relax yourself, it's open to that. Spot for your children, spot for games, spot for different kind of food, snacks and assorted drinks, spot for even the masquerades.....laughs.

There are also carol services. Service where christians gather together to reflect on the story about the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ and sing of the wondrous story and glory accompanying the birth of Christ.

And also importantly, giving of gifts. This is a season of showing love not only to your family, loved ones and friends but extend the hand of giving to other people apart from this circle of normal people. Even if it's not material, sometimes just the little time spent is a blessing to them. Sometimes all they want is a listening ear.

With all these I have mentioned I have decided to work so hard to be able to achieve all these. So I can have the much fun I intend to get.
