Celebrating a special friend's birthday.

Hello everyone. Trust you all are doing well it's my pleasure to be writing in this community. I'll be talking about my friend who is celebrating her birthday today.

Birthdays are days set aside to celebrate once growth in life and achievements and event in one's personal journey. A birthday can be seen as an ordinary day but is more than just a day on the calendar. It symbolizes a joyous celebration of one's life journey. Birthdays are testament to our journey to growth.

Birthday offer a new and fresh chapter of possibilities and potentials. It is also a time to reflect on your growth, the challenges faced and the achievement from the previous year. Birthdays can also said to be an annual celebration of our existence on the planet earth. It's a time to recreate memories. Everyone looks forward to celebrating their birthdays.

Each birthday we celebrate marks a landmark in the chronicle of our lives reminding us of the past and also reminding us of what the future holds for us.

I love birthdays. One of the reasons I celebrate my friends and loved ones on their birthday. For today I'll be celebrating my special friend, her name's Susan. I met Susan early this year but it's like we've known each other for years. She was one of my roommates in the hostel space I stayed and my coursemate too.

One of the reasons I call her a special friend is because she shares the same birthday date with my late mom and since I lost my mom she has always played the role of a mother in my life.

Susan turned 22 today. She's a lovely person. She is a good listener and her confidence is contagious. Spending time with her makes me feel so good especially if I was not in a good mood. She accepts me for who I am. She's made a positive impact on my life. One of the ways she has impacted me is that she changed my perspective about giving. She taught me the importance of giving.

I was awake working through the night so I celebrated her kinda early today. Called her later on. Prayed with her, sang for her and gave my wishes. Sent her a gift and I'll be joining her in the evening at her party.
