"After the mourning, fortunately the vacation distracted me!"
Hey friends! I’m finally back to writing, and I realized it’s been nearly two months since my last post. Unfortunately, I experienced a significant loss in July, and I honestly isolated myself from everything for a while. Overcoming such losses is really tough, but eventually, you have to take that step to move forward.
Thanks to my friends, who truly surprised me with their thoughtful gesture, I was treated to a vacation in Minorca. They found me a beach where I could escape the daily chaos and immerse myself in a little piece of paradise—Cala d'Alcaufar. Many of you might be familiar with it, as it’s quite popular among tourists.
In fact, the photos I’m sharing in this post are from my first visit to this cove, where I found all these beautiful boats. It’s not the typical beach with white sand, and it gave me the impression of being less touristy for that reason.
I also took a photo of my accommodation with a lovely pool in the background. Although I didn’t use it because, honestly, when you’re in such a paradise, the pool seems less appealing.
I noticed that this place is frequented by families and older people who might be spending their retirement years here. Not only is the climate pleasant, but the cost of living seems quite reasonable as well.
Naturally, being a food enthusiast, I tried a sort of risotto with fresh catch of the day at a local restaurant in this charming little village right by the beach.
Keep following me, as tomorrow I’ll continue sharing more about my Minorca vacation. I’ve only covered the first day so far, which was a bit short because I arrived late by plane.
Thank you for reading, and see you in my next post!

It’s the first time I’m seeing a beach with no white sand. It’s really beautiful. I’m not surprised it’s a place filled with families. That’s a lovely place where one can escape the chaos of this world especially with family.
I love the serene feel that place has. I'm so sorry for whatever you are going through at the moment but I am glad that you are doiny something to get over it and to move on. This place is a peaceful place, I hope the beauty of it stays in your memory and heart so that you can finally have a happy heart while moving forward of course. 😊✨🤗
