Exquisite dessert of Guava with Mango 😋 [ENG/ESP]

I grew up eating a lot of guavas and mangos, because my family always had their own trees, they are extraordinary fruits in taste and texture, I will share with you how you can perfectly combine these fruits in an easy, refreshing and tasty dessert!

Crecí comiendo muchas guayabas y mangos , debido a que mi familia siempre tubo sus propios árboles, son frutas extraordinarias en sabor y textura, compartiré con ustedes cómo puedes combinar perfectamente estás frutas en un fácil, refrescante y sabroso postre!

We only need a few ingredients:

*Two large guavas previously washed and without peel, we cut them in four parts each.
*Four small mangoes previously washed and without peel.
*Five to six teaspoons of sugar.
*Cinnamon stick
*One teaspoon of vanilla
*A spoonful of corn starch flour, or you can also use a spoonful of rice flour.

Son pocos ingredientes los que necesitaremos:
*Dos guayabas grandes previamente lavadas y sin cáscara, las cortamos en cuatro partes cada una
*Cuatro mangos pequeños previamente lavados y sin cáscara
*Azúcar , de cinco a seis cucharaditas
*Rama de canela
*Una cucharadita de vainilla
*Una cucharada de harina de almidón de maíz, o también puedes utilizar una cucharada harina de arroz

Place the guavas, cinnamon stick, sugar and vanilla in a pot with two cups of water; cook over medium heat until the liquid is reduced by half, turn off the stove and remove a quarter cup of the liquid and reserve it for use in a little while.

Colocamos las guayabas, rama de canela, azúcar y vainilla en una olla con dos vasos de agua; Llevamos a cocinar a fuego medio hasta que se reduzca el líquido por la mitad, apagar la estufa y retiramos un cuarto de taza del líquido y lo reservamos para utilizarlo en un ratito

We let the guavas cool and then we take everything to the blender removing the cinnamon stick, blend and after this we must strain this juice to remove the seeds; We obtain practically a thick juice, this juice we will practically turn it into a tasty compote. Now is the time to use the liquid we had reserved, to this liquid we add the tablespoon of rice flour and we must mix until it is smooth, we add this mixture to the guava juice and start cooking over low heat, we must be careful and move the preparation so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot, it will be ready very quickly, we just have to wait for it to boil.

Dejamos enfriar las guayabas y luego llevamos todo a la licuadora retirando la rama de canela, licuar y seguido de ésto debemos colar éste jugo para retirar las semillas; Obtenemos prácticamente un jugo espeso, éste jugo lo convertiremos prácticamente en una sabrosa compota. Ahora es el momento de utilizar el líquido que teníamos reservado, a éste líquido le colocamos la cucharada de harina de arroz y debemos mezclar hasta conseguir que e quede sin grumos, le añadimos ésta mezcla al jugo de guayaba y comenzamos a cocinar a fuego lento, debemos estar atentos y mover la preparación para que no se pegue del fondo de la olla, estará listo muy rápido solo debemos esperar a que hierva

La guayaba queda aterciopelada y suave, deberemos refrigerarla para servir, al momento de servir pico los mangos en trozos pequeños y solo debemos colocar mango en la base y por encima la crema de guayaba! El sabor es estupendo, es un postre diferente variado y refrescante 😋
