FLOOD CRISIS AND IT VICTIMS

The accumulation of rainwater has its effect especially to places without proper drainage systems, causing a lot of damages to life and properties.

One thing about excess water is that it will always find its way no matter how stuck it gets even if it requires destroying things to flow.

This brought about the flood crisis happening here in my country.

Nigeria is currently under the most devastating period of floods, causing a lot to lose their lives and properties.

As if insecurity is not enough, now floods, crazy right?
yeah I know right.

I just hope and pray a solution is provided before the whole country is underwater.

The everyday rain with poor drainage systems has made so many parts of the country susceptible to flooding, even places that had never experienced floods, and over 600 lives has been lost within a space of one month and made a lot homeless.

The flood comes with a lot of negative effects such as disruption of economic activities.

Everyday rainfall and leaks in dams play a huge role in the flooding crises here in Nigeria.
This is a devastating news and when I see the victims I can't help but wish it never happened.

One-third of the county is underwater and day by day more lives are lost even while being rescued

Nobody saw this coming, no one knows it will claim a large percentage of lives and properties.

To the victims, I pray they find comfort
To the lost properties I pray they all get recovered with time.

With the look of things, we still have more rain to come I pray none leads to floods or loss of lives and properties.

Stay safe out there and try as much as possible not to indulge in any activity that might cause the prevention of water, practices like that end up with the flood.
