Explore and Expand Splinterlands Lore: Eureptilians are Humanoid Reptiles [EN/PT]
đź“ť English Version
Have you ever stopped to think about the insane diversity that exists in the world of Splinterlands? One of the most fascinating races in this universe is the Eureptilians.
The Eureptilians aren’t just a random group of reptiles.
They have culture, hierarchy, and are masters of surviving in the most brutal corners of Splinterlands and across all of Praetoria. Among the notable members of this race are Nagas, Serpentines, Tortisians, and Lizardkin, each playing a unique role in society.
For example, Nagas are powerful warriors known for their resilience and physical strength, acting as the guardians of tradition, preserving the race’s stories across generations. Meanwhile, the Serpentines, agile and cunning, serve as spies and assassins, specializing in ambushes and poisons. Then, we have:
NAGA BRUTE
"Over centuries, the Naga Brutes of the Burning Lands have become a fearsome hybrid race, combining the brutal strength of their kind with the resilience and agility of the native Serpentines. Towering and primal, these Naga are driven by a fierce sense of survival and deep superstition. Their mixed heritage has also given rise to unique magical abilities, making them powerful combatants in both physical and mystical battles."
Imagine this: centuries ago, internal conflict almost destroyed the race. The Nagas, who believed in total isolation, went to war with the Gorgons, who sought alliances with other similar species. Amid this chaos, the Kobolds another part of the Eureptilian race emerged as mediators with their mining and engineering skills, creating a treaty that gave rise to the era of peace we know today.
However, this peace is now under threat.
Rumors have surfaced that an ancient artifact called the Heart of the Dragon was discovered in the depths of Draykh-Nahka, the Eureptilians’ homeland. The artifact is said to hold the power to control dragons, potentially destabilizing all forces within Splinterlands.
SERPENTINE SOLDIER
"Deep beneath the blistering sands of the southern Burning Lands, the sprawling subterranean city of Sskah thrives in defiance of the harsh surface world. This city, carved from obsidian and volcanic stone, is the stronghold of the Serpentines, a proud and fiercely territorial people. Known for their unmatched agility and cunning, the Serpentines have perfected the art of survival in an unforgiving environment where only the strongest endure."
Now, the leaders of the Eureptilian tribes are divided among their species. The Drakoshans want to protect the artifact at all costs, while the Nagas believe it must be destroyed to avoid future problems for all of Splinterlands. Meanwhile, external groups like the Riftwatchers and even the dreaded Chaos Legion are eager to get their hands on this powerful item.
Unlike other members of their race, the Tortisians represent a more peaceful model of the Eureptilian species. Although the heart of Tortisian culture remains in Azmaré, many clans have chosen or been forced by conflict or circumstance to roam Splinterlands. They are nomads out of necessity but also by tradition, carrying with them ancient songs, rituals, and stories that connect them to their people.
TORTISIAN CHIEF
"Each clan is led by a Chief, a figure of immense respect and authority. Chiefs are more than mere leaders; they are the embodiment of Tortisian values strength, perseverance, and the wisdom to guide their people through the ever-changing tides of fate. A Chief’s silver crown signifies their status, while their massive scepter is not just a symbol of power but also a weapon of great craftsmanship.
Leadership among the Tortisians is earned, not inherited. Chiefs must continually prove their worth, fending off challenges from within the clan. These duels, fought with honor and ferocity."

NAGA BRUTE
"Over centuries, the Naga Brutes of the Burning Lands have become a fearsome hybrid race, combining the brutal strength of their kind with the resilience and agility of the native Serpentines. Towering and primal, these Naga are driven by a fierce sense of survival and deep superstition. Their mixed heritage has also given rise to unique magical abilities, making them powerful combatants in both physical and mystical battles. "
These duels, fought with honor and ferocity"
