Hive is Insurance Rather Than Side Hustle
As you all know, Turkiye suffered 2 massive earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.7 and 7.5 on February 6th. We lost thousands of lives and the side effects of the earthquake started to hit economically, as well.
The cities are evacuated because of the risks of a pandemic (triggered by the lack of hygiene), more aftershocks, and the lack of basic human needs. Meanwhile, thousands of stores and offices also collapsed or were heavily damaged. It has been almost a month since we experienced it.
There are lots of people who can no longer open their workplaces because of the risks and broken supply chain in the 10 cities directly affected.

Nobody would expect a natural catastrophe to hit our lives drastically. Though this time it is the earthquake that happened, the risks can be extended to hurricanes, wildfires, landslides, and more.
Under any circumstances, not being able to do your business may brings a lot of trouble for those who live on their salaries. If we consider the majority of people who live from paycheck to paycheck, it would bring unrecoverable issues for families.
Hive enables people to share their ideas, establish their businesses or do marketing operations for their digital stores. The security of the blockchain and the growing community are two strong sides of the project.

This unfortunate experience changed my worldview. I was planning to buy a house with a mortgage 2 days before the earthquake. Now, my father's store is damaged, the house that I intended to buy has been destroyed and the city is almost ruined.
I know many millionaires who lost all their life savings in a single catastrophe. It is no longer possible for thousands of people to secure their life quality. "Do not put all your eggs into the same basket" should apply to every side of your life.
Hive is a requirement. Hive, or Hive-like platforms, maybe your life insurance if you are in a developing country. People need to secure themselves physically, emotionally, and financially to be on the safe side. This may not make a lot of sense before experiencing such devastation but, trust me, Hive may change your life or help you sustain your well-being.
Crypto may, sometimes, be irritating but it is a gift for people to build a better life. Keep creating, producing and building everyone!

My condolences for your and your family's losses. In the 21st century, it is VITAL to have at LEAST 2 sources of income, it's no longer a luxury, but a necessity.
You are right, HIVE is insurance against economic collapse. IF you have a chunky $HBD cache in Hive Savings, you're earning 20% APR, better than any fiat bank could come close to matching, outside of a risky investment environment such as Kazakhstan (which had double-digit savings APRs last I checked).
I fully intend on focusing my writing and blogging efforts here, where there is no middleman taking a cut off the top from my hard work, like on Substack, where Stripe takes their 2.99% fee on EVERY transaction conducted.
