Making an Asheabi handfan for my friends wedding, personal use.

Goodmorning needle work lovers. I hope the week has been so so productive since its started. Mine was sweet though I am a bit under the weather.one of my friend is doin her wedding on sunday and we are to use the combination of these two colours white and lemon. And we are all required to buy bothe the asheabi cloth, the ashoke and also the hand fan, i have purchased all that apart from the fan becasue i want to make my own fan different, simple and unique,an also i wanted to be creative, so i went ahead and think of what to use and do it and since i did not have the coloure i am to use, i had to just chip into the market and get it. So this is me sharing with you how i was able to archied this asheabi hand fand made with broomstick, stral and wool.

The materials used are
Five sticks of stral for the handle
Lemon wool
White wool
Broomsticks
Needle

So I am using a circle shape that's is why I will be using 4 equally size of the broomstick. As you can see I have closed the 4 equal side broomstick.

So I will start by using the lemon colour to go round the broomsticks, though this first stage is a bit difficult because you will need to be careful while using the lemon wool to go through the broomsticks, you will have to roll it round gently so that those broomsticks will still maintain their place.

At this point I have been able to make the broomsticks stand well. I will continue using the lemon wool to go round and round again until I know that I am OK with it.

At this point I am changing the lemon colour to the white one I will not just cut it out but rather I will add the white to the lemon colour and go round first together and then cut the lemon out along the line and be using the white to go round.

So I have go round and round again and again using the white wool and to this point I will have to stop the white and go back the the lemon colour.

So after rounding the booth colours to the bim of the broomstic I will now make a cut and let it to be there. I am not going to start doing the smaller one but in the same process.

This is the process of doing the smaller one after the big one, why I added this smaller one was that I did not just want it to look very simple to the eyes of anyone.

So after doing and putting everything together, I used the straw to see if I can get the handle and it gave me what I wanted. Though the straw was kind of light and I was like let me use several 🥤 straw and see the outcome first and it all went well.

At this point I decided to tie the both wool at once to get a mixed colour on the stral. I have to tie it all round till the end. And then I used it to atarch it to the fan.

Then I put my needle to the thread for easy additions of the two fans, (that is the small one and the big one)

This is the two fan when I wanted to joing the together .

So I have started sawing them together to get what I actually wanted.0

I also used the thread to saw the stral to the fan so that it will not be easily detached.

So after sawing I cut the threads out.

And my hand fan is ready to be used on Saturday for the weeding.
