6 Homemade Dinners [ENG/ESP]
A few days ago, I started to photograph all the dinners we make at home for 6 days, I wanted to share with you what we "usually" eat during the night and present you what is cooked in my family's house for dinner or at least 6 dinners of 6 different nights through these photographs that I show you today.
Some of these dinners we do not usually repeat them so often, for different reasons, but I think the main one is that in our Venezuelan culture, we traditionally eat daily (either breakfast or dinner) the famous "Arepas ", so in many homes in this country, they are given some priority on our tables.
Among the dishes I share with you in the photos are the previously mentioned "Arepas", also the "Pastelitos" (or as we called them when we were kids the "empanadas de pepitas") and the "Rosquitas con Queso Blanco ", very similar to the "Mandocas" but made without plantains.
As you will see, arepas are not always what we eat but we repeat them as breakfast or dinner constantly, but I wanted to bring you some variety and not just stay with 6 arepa dinners, because otherwise the post would have a very different title than the one it has now.
In each photo I leave you the name of that dish, dishes made by my mom and me for dinner every night at home. There were only 6 dinners that I captured in photos but in each one of them there is a part of our culture and our intimacy as a home; but through them, today I can share with you a little bit of that culinary intimacy that lives in my home.

I would love trying pastelitos at some point. I heard it's pretty amazing. In my country, we have something called pastel and it's pretty similar but we don't serve it with the salsa that you have other there.
Pastelitos are pretty good, you can actually buy the dough or making it, either way, they're really good and the filling can be anything, literally.
I hope you can taste them one day!
Thank you for your comment, @macchiata!
