LA-LIGA: Jules Kounde gets sent off over altercation with Jordi Alba
In a La-Liga game against FC Barcelona, Sevilla defender Jules Kounde had a moment he would want to forget in a hurry.
The defender was sent off after he angrily threw the ball to the face of Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba.
Details of the incident:
Sevilla were giving a throw-in opportunity. Kounde ran to the touchline in other to grab the ball. However, he was shoved by Barcelona stars Gavi and Jordi Alba. Kounde was furious by such actions.
To express his frustrations, the Sevilla defender then threw the ball to the face of Barcelona left-back Jordi Alba. Alba fell to the ground in a dramatic fashion, leading to the sending off of Jules Kounde.
The consequences of Kounde's actions:
At the touchline, the referee and linesman had an awesome view of the event, making the final decision not much of a concern.
Sevilla were forced to see out the remaining 30minutes of the game short of a man. And Barcelona were finally able to get an equaliser late into the game.
Summary:
The draw for Sevilla meant that their aspirations to dethrone Real Madrid from the top took a major hit.
They now sit five points behind Los Blancos, a few days to Christmas day.

That was such a childish thing to do, very immature and ruined a very fun game for me. Kinda wish Barcelona would have gotten the win to serve as a great lesson
