This is an acrylic study based on an ornament/sculpture I found in my house. I wanted to express the feelings the mother had while also accurately depicting the form of the model. Completed over several hours with rose madder red, ultramarine blue, cadium yellow, burnt umber, black and titanium white paints for colours.
