I will tell you something no one told me in my 20s.

I see a lot of young people in their 20s feeling depressed and frustrated because their relationships aren’t working.

Heartbreaks, Disappointments, Betrayal, WHY NOT??? 🤨

20s is that phase of growing up where most people make their biggest life’s decisions, progresses and mistakes.

The 20s is the crossroad and only a few people are unable to crossover without breaking themselves or someone else in the wake of their decisions.

In your 20s you should be more concerned with and fixated on getting your business to work than fixing a relationship.

The kind of effort and energy you put into making men notice you could be channeled into marketing your business.

Imagine all the effort you’ve made trying to get that girl to bed channeled into trying to get a client to sign off on your proposal.

How many times will you get your heart broken before you hit 30? 🤔 Many have even given up on love and they are not even 25 yet. 🤦‍♂️

What do you expect? That relationships will just work out without your job or business working out?

What were you thinking? That two unemployed, always available youths can experience undying love?

Let’s face it, some of these women didn’t leave because they were fake or not in love, You were just too blank and stagnant. They had to leave for greener pastures.

Life is hard, who would blame them for wanting more? Would you blame your sister for picking a better option?

Some of these guys didn’t leave because they got sex, It’s not always about sex but about productivity and let’s face it, some of these women are blank.

So many liabilities posing as boyfriends/girlfriends but all they bring to the table is sex and more liabilities.

Many of your failed relationships would’ve worked out if you had a working business that occupies your time and gives you a voice.

If you could foot your own bills without constantly nagging or jumping on social media for attention, some of those men would’ve seen more worth.

Social media brings us closer together that’s fine but learn to control your emotions, take some time out to observe before falling in love with strangers.

Sometimes, It’s just fun so enjoy the moment, sometimes it’s grows into something deeper, cherish it and other times, it is a lesson, Learn from it.

Invest most of your time in working and empowering yourself rather than constantly nagging for love and attention.

An empowered Man or Woman is a formidable force because self reliance does not only promote individuality, it also gives you a voice and option to chose your path based on how much it meets your expectations not based on survival.

This means that the power to chose WHO you date, WHY you date, HOW you date, WHERE you date, WHEN you date, IF you date or NOT lie within your grasp.

Don’t waste your 20s trying to convince people on why they should stick to you, change for you or fall in love with you,

Channel that energy towards convincing prospective customers and clientele on why they should patronize your business, stick to it and recommend to others.

Use your 20s wisely because when you get to your 30s or 40s, You will have lesser options and people will only stick with you on the condition that you can guarantee financial security.
