It was a rare morning when husband had morning online meeting appointment. So we decided to go to the park for morning exercise after sending eldest son to school. He reached school at 6:40am and we reached the park at 6:45am. So early!!!

6:45am At The Park

This is the park nearby my son's school called Danao Kota Lake Park. Early morning you can see many people are already there for walking, jogging, exercising and doing live workout videos. That day, there were a big group of elderly joining a session called BaGua session which were like some Tai Chi but this one they walked slowly around a tree, peacefully, and kept looking at the tree. It was believed people are able to draw life and energy from nature, hence making us healthier.

My youngest son and I spent time at the smaller park where a mini playground was and and also a smaller walking path, and my hsuband went to jog around the lake which was very big. This was not our first time so my son was familiar with the surrounding. He played at the playground while I did my exercise nearby him.

After some time spent at the playground, he wanted to walk too. We walked around the pathway for 3 rounds. He also spotted his daddy while walking, at the lake site, we could overlook it at our side. We called to him for a photo.

When he returned to us, he was panting. He said he needed to bulk up his stamina after recovering from Covid19. Never felt so weak before. A group photo together.

We were done here and it was time for breakfast which we chose Good Luck Kopitiam just ouiside the park. While walking there, I saw beautiful purple morning glory. Lots of them.

8am At Good Luck Kopitiam

The restaurant opened at 8am. However, when we reached, it wad still close. We saw the workers inside were having their breakfast so we waited outside. I love the surroundings full of greeneries.

Awhile later, the shop opened. Even at the entrance of the shop, there were two big pots of plants. Very beautiful.

This was not our first time here also because I often frequennted this place after my walk with friends. But this round was with my husband. Love the ambience here.

Our breakfast.

We ordered toast and coffee of course. Then husband added on 'Char Siu' puffs, their signature dish of BBQ pork in crispy puffs. He also added soft-boiled eggs. He must be real hungry.

We finished our breakfast at around 9am and he had his online meeting there while I taught my son Maths and English. We were well prepared. I brought all books and stationaries.

Brunch

After my husband ended his meeting and we also almost done our homework, we decided to eat my early lunch there also. Haha. All-in-one.

I ordered nasi lemak for myself and to share with my son. It was our champion Malaysian breakfast of rice cooked in coconut milk, served with egg, roasted peanuts and anchovies and 'sambal'.

Husband ordered for himself nasi lemak also with curry chicken. His favourite food.

When we left the place, it was already quite many customers there. I took photos of the dining area outside the shop, in the open air. I quite like how the outside looks like too.
