Visit a Photo Exhibition

How are you hive friends, wherever you are, of course the news is good. Thank you Wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay. Visit a photo exhibition of journalistic work, the location of exhibition is in the front yard of an old building with European style architecture in the city of Tegal, central Java.

At that time I was on my way from west Java to central Java passing through Tegal city, right in front of the old building. I Saw there was activity apparently the committee was working, in front of the gate of the old building, there was banner that said photo journalism exhibition from 8 to 16 November 2024.

Then I Parked the road and tried to enter the yard of the old building, one of the aim of this exhibition is to show the results of photo journalistic work to educate the public and the youngers generation so that they know more about the history and culture central Java and Yogjakarta.

There are around hundreds of journalistic photos neatly displayed and visitors can see in detail the photos on display. One by one I Saw photos taken by journalists containing the daily lives of the people of central Java and the special region of jogyakarta.

Photo from journalist are mounted on small iron bars tied using nylon, the type of photo on display is like children playing on a see Saw. The material is Made from bamboo, the culture of this toy has been passed down from generation to generation for a long time.

The servants of the Mangkunegaran temple take part in the carnival at a cultural tradition even which is still maintained today. Located at the Mangkunegaran temple, solo .

Journalistic taken from villages in central Java and Yogjakarta, such as in the Wonosobo area. The lengser dancers are following a ritual to ensure smoothness when they dance. From a photo of a sintren dancer to appreciate nature, better known as nyadran.

Photo of batik cloth, one the cultures used in the Yogjakarta palace. Batik patterns vary, each region has it's own superior batik motifs. And there are still many photos on display here.
