Until now, some train station are still functioning and some are not longer functioning. Sharing my experience of visiting a train station building that is no longer in use and abandoned.

Kalasan Train Station
Is located on Tirtomatani village, Kalasan Sub-district Sleman, Yogjakarta Province. Kalasan station was built around 1872, along with the construction of the Yogjakarta region rail way line and the Solo region rail way line.

The construction of rail way tracks and station in the early days was to transport passengers and transport good. Kalasan station id a small class station as line went by in 2007, the Kalasan station was no longer functioning or stopped operating until now.

Entering the abandoned Kalasan station building, the wall were full of graffiti, the air of horror. Kalasan station used to be a station for boarding, descending passengers, entrance hall, ticket sales room, passengers waiting room , rail road overhang, station masters' room, front terrace room.
