Once upon a time, there was a woodcutter who lived in a small village. One day, while he was chopping wood in the forest, he found a piece of wood that looked like it had a face. He took the wood home and decided to carve it into a doll for his daughter.

As he worked on the wood, he began to see the doll come to life. Its features seemed to take shape on their own, and soon the woodcutter realized he had carved something truly special.

When he gave the doll to his daughter, she was overjoyed. She named the doll "Woodie" and played with it every day. Woodie seemed to have a personality of its own, and the woodcutter could hear his daughter talking to the doll as if it could hear and understand her.

As time went on, the woodcutter noticed something strange happening. Woodie seemed to be growing and changing, as if it were alive. It was no longer just a doll, but a friend and companion to his daughter.

Eventually, the woodcutter realized that he had created something magical. Woodie had become a real, living being, and he knew that his daughter would always have a loyal friend by her side. And so, the woodcutter continued to carve more wood dolls, each one unique and special in its own way.
