Christmas Markets in Lazise!!

Hello dear friends of this splendid community,

I am excited to share with you the thrill of my first Christmas market of the year after a long wait. Most of the markets, including the prominent one in Verona, have been open for about ten days, but only last Saturday, I managed to pay a visit to the one in Lazise.

For those unfamiliar with this charming location, I'm referring to a municipality located in the province of Verona, practically on the eastern part of the picturesque Lake Garda. Every year, from November 25th to January 7th, Lazise transforms into a magical Christmas village, with the market winding along the lakeside, through the streets, and in the renowned Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, attracting people from all over Italy.

I must admit that there weren't many differences compared to last year's edition, but I took the opportunity to stroll along the lakeside. It's been a while since I visited these places, I think since summer if my memory serves me right. Despite the unusual cold for the area, which usually doesn't experience such chilly temperatures, the presence of visitors was remarkable, although not overly crowded. I struggled a bit to find parking, but fortunately, I know this area of Lake Garda well and already knew where to park.

The market boasts around 60 stalls, each offering visitors a magical atmosphere with typical flavors and Christmas scents. During the evenings, concerts and animations are scheduled, and Santa Claus makes an appearance. Although I couldn't capture a photo with him, you can take a carriage ride with this jolly character.

I hope the quick photos I took have captured the essence of this enchanting place on the shores of Lake Garda. I wish you the opportunity to visit this place sooner or later, which proves charming not only during the Christmas season but also in summer, in the height of the season, where you can engage in various water sports.
