In Part 8 we looked at the Word of God, the Bible. How God gave us the Bible so He can speak to us.

What does God want to say to us in the Bible?

God is our Heavenly Father, and just like our fathers and mothers want to teach us to live right, so God want us to read the Bible that we can know how to live a life that makes God happy.

God even tells us in the Bible about this in the Book of Zephaniah.
The Lord, your God, is with you. He is strong. He will save you. He will be very happy about you! He will quietly love you. He will sing, because he is so happy about you!

That is why God gave the Ten Commandments to his people, the Israelites, so that they won't do the sins that it teach us about. The Ten Commandments in the Bible also teach us what is sin.

God also want to tell us what happened to his people from the beginning of the earth till the end of the earth. The Bible start with Genesis that tells us about Adam and Eve and ends with Revelation that tells us about the end of the earth.

We must read the Bible every day. God also want us to teach us about Himself. If we read how God provide for His people then we learn that He will look after us too.

In the New Testament, God also want to teach us how He send His Son, Jesus, to became the Savior of the World.

In the New Testament Jesus teach his disciples and us, how much He love the children. We read this in the book of Luke.

Then Jesus told the children to come to him. He said to his disciples, ‘Let the children come to me. Do not try to stop them. People must become like these children so that God can rule their lives. That is what the kingdom of God is like.
