How can this be possible?

The federal Agency, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is the federal agency that enable child trafficking.
This is because as they are the funding source for the Foster Care and Adoption system.
Unaccompanied alien children (UAC) come across the border, or they are medically kidnapped from their homes, and they all end up in Foster Care.

Earlier this week John A. Zadrozny, who served as a Deputy Assistant to the President and Acting Chief of Staff at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services during the Trump Administration, published an editorial at The Federalist explaining the horrible problem of “unaccompanied alien children” (UACs) being trafficked across the border into the United States.

It's not only children that comes across the border that is the supply chain for sex trafficking.
According to the State Department annual Trafficking in Persons report, stated that more than 300,000 of America's young population are at risk for sexual exploitation.
The report confirmed that undocumented immigrant children, children in foster care, youth with substance abuse problems were high risk to become victims of human trafficking

Fox News reported the following in 2019:

“We have a major issue here in the United States” Geoff Rogers, co-founder of the United States Institute Against Human Trafficking (USIAHT), said in an interview with Fox News. “The United States is the No. 1 consumer of sex worldwide. So we are driving the demand as a society.”
“We’re also driving the demand with our own people, with our own kids,” Rogers said. “So there are tremendous numbers of kids, a multitude of kids that are being sold as sex slaves today in America. These are American kids, American-born, 50 percent to 60 percent of them coming out of the foster care industry.”

The Biden Administration’s “open borders” only helped supply the chain as this policy resulted in an unrivalled number of migrant children coming across the borders. These kids, surpassed the number of available foster parents, this resulting that as many as 26 Unaccompanied Alien Children were placed by 1 licensed Forster parent.

Donald Trump's administration wanted to stop this problem, but they were not successful. Because of Career bureaucrats that manage federal agencies, and no matter who sits in the White House, it's business as usual.

If Americans really care about the health, safety, and welfare of the innocent children who are being smuggled and trafficked into the United States, our first step has to be to stop our federal government from being part of the problem and make it part of the solution.

We agree with the above conclusion of John A. Zadrozny. My heart aches for these children, this is so terribly wrong. I also start to blame the parents of these children. How can they send these children unaccompanied over the border? I plan to further look into this..
