Home Education Curation Collection. 6th February 2022
It's been lovely to see so much happening in the community. Some people we haven't seen for a while have dropped in to visit and there are lots of conversations and ideas happening.
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
• @missdeli
• @afterglow
• @emimoron
• @afa.hb03
I really liked this maths eggs game from @ramisey, this week. I usually think of these things as only being used for simple and very basic maths activities, but she demonstrates that it can be tailored for more advanced maths as your child progresses.
Children don't always connect their food with the fact that it comes from a plant, so what better way to demonstrate this connections than with a growing experiment. @arrliinn's daughter literally took some of the food she likes to eat and added water. They were excited to see results in just a few days!
I can never go past @missdeli's colourful activities with her little man! This play based approach to learning always incorporates a range of learning areas. This time there's science happening with their art. Can you pick out what other learning and development might be happening here?
Children are remarkable little sponges when it comes to learning and curiosity. They often surprise us, as @melbourneswest remarked this week when little miss made some Aha! moments concerning her history and ancestry. How have your children surprised you recently?
While @emimoron is a fan of physical books, she couldn't help but give a nod to some of the online reading applications now available. Read on to see why she has an appreciation for what they aim to accomplish.
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @minismallholding and this week I have added @kidsisters as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!

A big thank you to @missdeli for helping out so much these last weeks. It's been great to have both moral and physical support. I might be biased, but I think we have one of the most supportive communities here. 😉
