Home Education Curation Collection. 2nd July 2023
Although there were few interactions this week, we managed to gather a collection of highlights for you, exposing a wide range of topics and home learning suggestions. Enjoy reading these if you haven't already. :).
First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:
@chillwithshanna is an expert in communication, more precisely a Speech-language pathologists, also called SLP. Recently, she shared with us a few toys she uses for spech therapy in her pediatric practice and how these toys can help children to develop or improve their language and speech skills. You should definitely read her post because she explains so well the difference between these last two: speech and language. And I think this is useful for every parent here who educates his kids at home.
@romeskie always shares with us moments and experiences from their homeschool journey and it's always a pleasure to read these because her posts include a lot of useful information, suggestions and practice for homeschooling parents and teachers. This time, she shared with us their experience having an Orientation Day, where all members of the family talked and tried to organize this upcoming educational year. Her little girl is well determined and knows what she wants and love, so they all are trying to plan the best schedule for learning time.
If you're looking for some teaching alternatives to keep children active and interested in the learning process, @kattycrochet got us covered this week. She shared with us some printable didactic games she created herself using a platform. You can take a look on that too, maybe it helps you with other future games and resources you might need. She mostly uses these didactic games to reinforce vocabulary skills in children.
And here we have another cute idea coming from @emmaris! She's constantly creating these fun easy DIY games and activities to teach her little girl the basics, this time identify and recognize numbers from one to five, working on concentration skills and observation.
Thank you for joining us. This curation was brought to you by @missdeli and this week I have added @minismallholding as 10% beneficiary for the ongoing delegation support. Thank you!
