Home Education Curation Collection. 23rd April 2023

Thank you for joining us again for this week's highlights. It's been a quiet week again, but we still have some great ideas coming in, so thank you to everyone sharing them with the community.

For multiplication and division activities, @yessi08 brings us a clever, reusable activity triangle. She recommends this for 8-9 year olds, but I feel like it could be simplified or made more challenging for younger and older children too.



I liked this interactive, multi pronged approach from @leomarylm to help promote letter recognition and reading. She chose "apple" as the theme and used visual, tactile, vocal and audio activities to go with it.



I couldn't go past these creative, fun puppets from @emmaris. Some craft ideas for the children which move on into imaginative play. I love the idea of the pegs as the puppets mouths! They'll even get some finger exercising in there, which will improve fine motor control.



I've always been a firm believer that it is good for our children to learn from different people. No one person can know everything and everyone will have a slightly different approach to the same topic. This week @missdeli discussed how grandparents can play a big role in their grandchild's learning and invites readers to join in the conversation.
