Home Education Curation Collection. 19th December 2021

(Edited)

Christmas is nearly here and it looks like many of our homeschoolers have been preparing and getting into the festivities. If you need any last minute creative ideas, you are sure to find them in the community at the moment.

First our usual thank you everyone who makes this community what it is. This week 5% beneficiaries for interaction and contribution to the HomeEdders community go to:

@salvadornkpara
@missdeli
@ryivhnn
@afterglow

Join @queenart to craft some paper snowflakes. These are a little different to the 2D ones I grew up making. They incorporate a variety of fine motor skills to exercise those fingers.

The themes in @near-mrs' homeschool have been centred on winter and the holiday season. They've been checking the weather, crafting, playing in sensory bins and much more.

@naimajudith shares a simple Santa puzzle she created for her grandson. A great little festive activity to help develop hand and eye coordination and matching skills.

@mayifiestas has been sharing some of the things she's been learning in college on helping our babies and young children develop their senses. In this post the focus is on developing sight, but she has two more up on hearing and sense of smell.

Join @ryivhnn and her boys for a Mediaeval Faire and a museum trip. For those with older children, you also might notice the theme changes a little as they head into their final schooling years and plans begin to prepare them for their adulthood career paths.
