Netflix Didn't Rip Off Quantum Leap - It's a Remix

I found this thing on Netflix titled Carmen Sandiego: To Steal or Not to Steal. It's an interactive animated film in which you act as the eponymous character. There's also this holographic observer. If you fail as Carmen Sandiego in the mission of saving some friends the hologram makes some quip and tells you that you are going to be sent back in time. Then the video leaps you back to the beginning so you can strive to put right what once went wrong.

Wait a minute ... This seems very familiar ...

Even if that Netflix film was lightly inspired by Quantum Leap who really cares? Some people believe that Donald P. Bellisario got the idea of Quantum leap from the Battlestar Galactica episode "Experiment in Terra". Glen A. Larson stuffed so much LDS theology in Battlestar Galactica that the series is basically Mormons in Space.
