Hive transactions have one-block irreversibility
Hive Today #49 - December 18th, 2022
In October this year, Hive saw a major network upgrade, Hard Fork 26. This upgrade enabled one-block irreversibility (OBI). It means that most (but not all) Hive blocks become irreversible before the next block is produced. And as a result, most Hive transactions can become irreversible within a few hundred milliseconds. I don’t think we talk about this enough.
Onward to this week’s highlights.
