2022 promises as a photographer to self
I had a single picture of this so decided to use it for this post. Often have been questioned on why I only share pictures and not blog a bit. Well, life of a photographer. I don't fancy writing much and prefer the picture to do the talking. But here it goes today. Decided to pen down a few promises I have made to self as a photographer.
Well, every year most of us start the month by making a lot of promises to self and then mid way forget all the self commitment. But hoping this year to stick to the commitments for a better self growth.
First on the list is to start doing some creative projects. Have always had it on mind but rarely implemented. Anyone who has been following me from the start would remember my first project with the dragon ball-z collectibles. And then I stopped working on them. Need to concentrate more on personal projects this year and make sure my work gets better.
Need to create a signature shot of mine and stick to it.
Second on the list would be to document what I shoot. I often click pictures, transfer it to the drive and some of them I post here on hive and then forget about them. Guess maybe do a photobook or print some or send some as postcard gifts. This I need to plan well.
Always open for suggestions.
Last but not the least on the list is communication! Yeah, I know I am very bad at communicating and commenting and building relationships. Kind of like living in my cocoon. But I need to work on this and start being a little more active, check more photography profiles, learn from them too.
Hopefully I can overcome my fear of people.
Kept like just three goals and hopefully this year I will be able to achieve these and become a better photographer too in the process.
What are your goals?
