Our Youth Camping Activities in Lugait, Misamis Oriental

I was having a wonderful experience and activities about the youth camp in our Church. I was very happy and excited when My Mother told about the activities and for that, I really wanted to join and have fun. Yesterday, at exactly 7AM, I was started to packed my things to be brought to the camping site in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. According to the organizers, Lugait is a perfect place to do this activities. I brought my Charger, Cellphone, Rice, Snacks, Candles, Plates and spoon use for eating.

Fast forwarded, The said exact time to gather at the Bus terminal is 8 AM so I got to get ready and doubled check my important things to be brought.

Lighting of Candles:

Exactly 7 PM when our organizers decided to do an activities and this was lighting of candles. In this kind of activities, We grouped ourselves into 3 and share our personal reflection regarding with the verse we read about. After that, we prayed together in a personal prayer. It was not scary at all because there are lots of people in the place, even if it was totally dark but still their are many people standing in every place. I was very amazed of what I've seen and heard. That was my first time to attend and joined youth camp and it was very enjoyable. I can have many different kinds of friends from different parts of the place.

It was not really a good and calm night because there was a strong wind blowing at our place. The areas were the activities is near at the shoreline and it was located near at Lugait Eco-Park. The tents was totally blown out that is why we decided to move and transfer in this structure. It was made of concrete and it cannot destroyed by the wind. Luckily, the electricity was not out while the strong winds occured.

The food committee was also busying doing and taking their responsibility as cookers. They cooked our food for Breakfast, Lunch and Super. They are the one who are encharge of the activities and so that the attendees will not getting hungry. While waiting, I watched the place, that was my first time to went that kind of place and it was very beautiful and fascinating.

The structures are made of concretes and tiles floors to make it more fascinating and unique. There are lots of different kinds of activities are already helded here and most of it are anniversaries, Birthdays and baptisms.

A little later, our Dinner was ready and the committee ordered us to form in lines in Two's. Approximately, their are 140 children attending the youth camp and most of them are living in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. I am very happy because they served us very well im many kinds of activities, It will really sure that hungriness will occured next.

The sound system was also ready including this drums at the front of many people. The Parents or Guardians also help the organizers about of the setting of the place.

After eating, we decided to explored the place. A little later, the Bible sharing and healing are done next. Personal reflection is also done in this activity and I am very happy to share my personal reflection to others.

It was my most fun and enjoyable times happens to my Life. I can gain more friends and strengthen the relationship not for

Families but also for another people and this is very important as one society*.
