Night Photo Hunting at The Beach

This is my first time to do travel blog at night here at the beach, in fact I'm still at the beach right now. Together with my cousins, we explored this private beach resort in Lugait. There are many lights shines but all of this are solar power. This beach was newly opened but it is private not public. Each corner of the place consists of solar lights, it makes to light up the place and it will be easily to see those tresspassers people. This is a perfect plan to use solar light so that it will lessen the electricity bill. Even if it is made of solar panels, it can gives a light to the place.

Near at the private beach is this houses. This structures was built also near at the sea. The lights come from the houses reflects to the sea water. Some of the residents here are already in the sea to do fishing and by 2 AM they will set going back home and sell the fish they catched.

There are lots of sea animals or creatures I found during our night exploration at the beach, they are all fascinating and I really amazed of it. Some of the sea animals I found are;

I don't what is the name of this fish but it looks very amazing. It can live without water and in fact i hid in this stone holes. This kind of fish actually hid dry places during low tide and it will comes out when high tide is near. It can crawl a few inches away and hid in the sand until the sea water will rise up.

This crab was also hid in the stone holes. It will comes out when the sea water rises up. This kind of crab can be eaten and local residents called it, Kagang. It can lived dry land and make a hole. This kind of crabs can lived dry land when it is near at the shore. It contains a sharp pointed legs. People are always avoiding to hold or touch this crab because it will pinch and create a sever wounds, instead they will shot it sharp objects.

We called this one, Sihi. This can be found anywhere in the shorline. It consists of dark spots and yellow color on its shells. This is very exotic and it can be eaten. Others cook this with coconut extract or gata and some of the people sell this to supermarket. This is very easy to find because it only lives in the stone holes and sometimes they crawl at the top of the stones.

This kind of fish can also lives in the dry places. It will comes out during at night and hunt for food. This kind of fish is camouflage means, we can easily seen this kind because the colors of the body is just like the environment they living in. Sometimes it can find at the top of the stones and it will jump off when the sea water rises.

This is what we called, brittle fish. This is classified as the member of the starfish that lives in the ocean. It has a long and hairy legs with round body. It is very scary to see but this is not harmful and dangerous animals. It lives on the hole and hunt for food using its tiny mouth under on its body. There are lots of brittle fish can be found here but because this cannot be eaten, people ignored this kind of sea creatures.

We called this one, Katlogan. In Northern Samar, they called it Tarukog. It is a kind of animals that always stick to the big stones and it is very hard to get or removed because it suck up to stones very tightly. This is also a kind of exotic food and we always cook this as an Adobo dish. It contains a nail like body and hairy on its sides.

I also tried to captured photos with this fish and a seaweeds This fish hunts for foods and the seaweeds helps them to inhabited the place. A little bit blurry because of the waves and water current. There are lots of seaweeds can also be found here in the beach and some of it are already cultured by the residents.

Some of the residents called it, Turong-Turong because it is obviously like a rooftop. This is hard to remove this in the stones because its sticks very tightly. It contains a hard pointed shells with a lines on the top.

This is a kind of starfish but it does not contains a long legs. Mostly this kind of animals can be found on the sandy places. There are lots of colors and sizes regarding with the starfish and it can also lives in the ocean.

This mangrove tress helps to beautify the place. Some of the animals also lives in the roots of this plants. The residents did a planting activity last day according to the folks I talked too. In fact this place was already a mangrove sanctuary and it can helps the sea animals to have a habitat.

I really amazed of this fish as I watching it busying hunt for food. This is the first time I seen animals that this like of behaviour and I really amazed it. It contains a blue shiny colors with white, yellow and orange on the body. We let this fish live and because it was stock at the rock pools we decided to transfer in the water directly to the ocean.

The last but not the least, this fascinating creature and we called it Balat that swims in the rock pool. We also put it in the water directly to the sea but we take a picture first. There are other kind of this animals that can be eaten but this is not.

I really having fun traveling the place and I really thankful to my cousins to show the beautiful shoreline.
