We Are All Work In Progress

An amazing week to everyone in this community and beyond. There is no one under the heavens who does not have one weak side on the other, we are all work in progress this is why it is important that regularly we seat to check ourselves personally to see what and what we need to work on.

There are different ways we can check out weakness which will help us make more improvement.

One of which is personal examination. This has to do with taking stock of oneself, where you are, where you wish to be and after a way one will also check if he really was able to achieve that. Also, it could be a weakness or habit want to do away with checking how far one have gone with it will aid growth too.

Another way is by asking people around who you know can be sincere with you. I used the word sincere because there are those who will not want to open up to tell someone where he is not getting it correctly so that he will not lose the relationship he is enjoying with the other party or even favour. Personally I enjoy those who can look into my eyes and tell me where am missing it in love not those who intentionally want to nail you down.

Another way one can appraise himself is in the presence of misunderstanding people tend to let out some bitter truth when they are angry. Some feel that's the only opportunity they have to tell you their mind. Someone that is sensitive enough will not try to cover up himself but take the truth the way it is.

Another way is when hard jokes is going on. There is a proverb in my language that means, truth comes out in the presence of jokes. Some people will deliberately be entering you in the name of making jokes. Personally I do this a times because I am one person who doesn't joke with words of mouth h and more.

One Major weakness I am sure am battling with is. Compelling people to do what I know will help them, and even when they don't see the light I put Myself in the line so they can catch it. This is one fault I have seen with myself and it was really eating me up not until my husband started counseling me on it.

This made many people to abuse the privilege which I bring to them because they don't see the value in it. One of my friends once said to me, "Deborah is the only one I have seen that will force you to make money even against your wish".

In the past I have seen myself waste my precious time trying to walk people through what will benefit them. How I help myself now is, I don't force myself to tell people what will help. At least those that have been help are the ones doing the talking. Also I try my best to see someone's commitment before I proceed with them. A times I also find a way of making them pay for the services so even when it turns out they are not serious it wouldn't pain me so much because their cash is on the line.

Working on a weakness is not so easy, it takes lots of process and deliberate effort to overcome that's why it is important to constantly check progress.
