All of you must be wondering how we picked the authors who get into the highlight. As some of the good curation projects out there, our highlighted authors are also handpicked to ensure that we diversify the content and the recommendations in the highlight. We want this highlight to be a place where people get inspiration, a place to learn something new, and even finding a recommendation.

Hence, throughout the week, the moderators will check the community and manually hand pick the posts. Some factors includes : the post subject, post quality, engagement, personal voice, and general effort.

Title : Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen): A Charming and Ironic Book

26uUsAjKTsXCDw7zixZR182JbFKvgzJ9YwsFpTVcRaGCmsqhA1unTgpqNQc7HJ8DHyfTMA2KQzwQUearT8e3QLXLk7hxs6DSvd3HTzsEy9DoU8vcfX2io7pnbQG8kTHet1JzK2B4ujy3nN4qiXRcn3uawj2v7STmu9Noxr.jpg

The story is about the Bennett family, a middle-class rural family that has 5 daughters, none of whom are boys, and for this reason the mother is crazy about marrying off her daughter because, not having a male heir, all the family's wealth would pass to her closest male relative upon the death of her husband, all the commotion appears when a wealthy young man named Charles Bingley and his friend Darcy, a much wealthier man, arrive. The stories of this era always or almost always talk about arranged marriages, but this one goes beyond that, it is not really just romance although it is the main theme, the criticism of the hypocrisy of society and all the pride of the upper class plus the needs of women as mere objects of adornment that their only concern is to marry a man and have children

I really liked JK's way of narrating the story and describing the characters and settings, she seems to me to be a quite creative writer, before I became interested in this saga I had only bought a book of hers called "The casual vacancy" which also She liked it, but I found this first book in the saga much more entertaining and I liked it much more, I liked everything she created for this fantastic universe and I'm already looking forward to reading the rest of the books in the saga. I hope to be able to buy and read them very soon (I also have book 5, but I don't plan to read it before the others).

In the previous writing we referred to the tragedy of love as the first turning point in van Gogh's life. But this was something he quickly overcame and although Vincent was hungry for love, (soon to come something with his cousin Kay), he was also hungry for knowledge. At his age he was a great reader, with a depth of thought that he readily demonstrated in conversations about art. After London, Van Gogh went to Asterdam. He failed in love and failed as a merchant; now he was going to try his luck in religion, to become a university priest, erudite and wise, hence the study of Latin and Greek, rigorously, because he began to understand that hard work was worthless when it lacked skills.
